Contra: the FARC

The FARC , for a period of years, controlled a Switzerland sized area of Colombia. They, like the Colombian government, spoke Spanish.

FARC was originally a Marxist group, and although they claim to speak for the indigenous (non-Spanish speaking) Colombians, this was not part of their original program, nor is the claim undisputed.
