The people of Earth are spread out over its surface and language differences are one thing that divides them.  A language difference prevents communities from coming together, and divided communities will drift apart.  Apart, communities of people might choose to ignore each other or they may come into conflict.

This theory brings together disparate events such as the great schisms of religious history, the great wars of the last century and some wars earlier ones, many major civil wars, most modern terrorism, and the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Current events, as they occur, will also be addressed.

Taking both a large sample of events to show general principles, an explanation is offered to describe the underlying forces, their effects, and reason is given for finding this the most powerful force in the modern age, if not much of recent history.

My theory says language is now the predominant force in human relations. It now trumps geography, even as it, itself, can be temporarily trumped by armies. As the great divider of humankind. specifically the barrier to understanding created by differences in languages, language differences have an impact at the international and intranational scale, on both social and ideational structures. If one adjusts one's traditional view of history, as I suggest, useful results for the future maintenance of peace between peoples become self-evident.

Please pardon my meager skills with written English, I enjoy, far more, discussing this. Also please pardon this website, which I built entirely by myself.
